Product information RealWear FLIR Thermal Camera
The RealWear FLIR Thermal Camera is a separate module for the RealWear Navigator 500, that replaces the standard 48MP camera module, with a dual-camera module that comes with a 48MP camera and a thermal sensor. The RealWear FLIR Thermal Camera module was developed with Teledyne FLIR, the world’s leading manufacturer of infrared products. The RealWear FLIR Thermal Camera is suitable for a wide range of applications, like electrical inspections, motor and pump checks or building diagnostics.
The RealWear FLIR Thermal Camera has the following advantages:
Voice Controlled Thermal imaging
First, the RealWear FLIR Thermal Camera allows users of the RealWear Navigator 500 to have access to realtime thermal imaging. The thermal imaging capabilities are voice controlled meaning both hands remain free for frontline workers. By giving frontline workers Thermal imaging they can spot issues which previously you would not be able to see with the naked eye, allowing them to be spotted before they become a problem.
Rugged Design
Second, the RealWear FLIR Thermal Camera, has been built to the same specifications as the RealWear Navigator 500. The Thermal Camera module is IP66 rated, which means it can withstand intense dust and water contact.
Flexible Camera Modes
Third, the RealWear FLIR Thermal Camera module offers 5 camera modes when attached the Navigator 500. The first mode is the standard camera mode found on the standard Navigator 500 model. The second mode is a thermal image mode, whereby the infrared camera on the module is activated and used instead of the standard camera. The third and fourth mode is a blend mode whereby the standard camera and infrared camera are overlaid on each other in a low blend or high blend mode depending on the importance of the thermal patterns for your situation. The final mode is MSX mode a patented method of FLIR Teledyne. This adds visible light details to the thermal image. All of these different modes allow the module to take on different use cases and can be tailored to it uniquely.
Compatible with FLIR Thermal Studio
Fourth, the RealWear FLIR Thermal Camera Module is compatible with the FLIR Thermal Studio Suite. The subscription software helps users manage their thermal images and videos. It offers advanced processing features such as Professional Inspection Reports enabling over 100 images to be used in customizable templates, overlays & formulas. Streamlining thermal analysis with advanced tools allows you to record, process, analyse & edit your images & videos.
