The RealWear HMT-1Z1 Hard Hat Band is a Rubber Band allowing you to attach the RealWear HMT-1Z1 to almost any hard hat or helmet.
The RealWear HMT-1Z1 Hard Hat Band is made of a stretchy rubber band allowing you to attach the HMT-1Z1 to a variety of different helmet sizes with the exception of full-brim helmets & helmets with ear muffs. This allows you to create a more secure mount for your RealWear HMT-1Z1. The Band features universal hat clips allowing you to connect your HMT-1Z1 and position it to maximise the comfort & performance of the device when in use.
The difference between the RealWear HMT-1Z1 Hard Hat Band and the Hard Hat Band (HMT-1 & Nav) is Device Compatibility & that the HMT-1Z1 Hard Hat Band is Intrinsically Safe, what this means is that the Band is able to be used in Hazardous areas being safe to operate with electrical equipment.

Hard hat band
No, the Hard hat band is only suitable for the Realwear AR headsets and this model especially for the HMT-1Z1 to be used in hazardous environments.
The hard hat band is compatible with every hard hat except for full brim hard hats or hard hats with helmet-mounted earmuffs
There are 2 versions of the hard hat band accessory, the hard hat band for HMT & Navigator and the hard hat band for HMT-1Z1. There is a special band made for the RealWear HMT -1Z1 as this band is made from materials that are safe to use in dangerous situations (Explosive / electrical).
It would be possible to mount the RealWear HMT-1Z1 to a regular hard hat band made for the HMT-1 & Navigator but this would make it possibly unsafe for hazardous environments so this is not recommended.
