First, the headset has a 5K display with 2448 x 2448 pixels per eye, giving it one of the highest resolution screens in its category. The Focus 3 also has an improved refresh rate of 90Hz. These upgrades put together give the HTC Vive Focus 3 a superior viewing experience compared to other headsets.
Second, the Vive Focus 3 is capable of providing one of the most immersive experiences available in its class. The Vive Focus 3 can do this thanks to its upgraded chipset. It is powered by the Snapdragon XR2 Platform, compared to the SNAPDRAGON 835 found in the HTC Vive Focus Plus. The XR2 platform supports 2x the performance capabilities. For reference, this is the same chipset found in the Oculus Quest 2 and Pico Neo 3.
