The key difference between the two headsets is that the Vuzix M400C is not standalone and requires a PC or Smartphone to work with the M400C.     1. Disconnect the battery unit from your Vuzix M400.
    2. Connect the M400 to the computer via USB-C or USB 3.2 port using a USB cable.
    3. On the Vuzix device, go to Settings > Connected Devices > USB and select Transfer Files mode.
    4. The M-Series smart glass will appear as a device on your computer.
    5. Drag your .apk file to the virtual SD card of the device.
    6. On your M-Series smart glasses, open the Files application and locate the file you copied from your computer.
    7. Select the .apk file on your Vuzix device and install it.
