HTC has teased many new products via Twitter in recent weeks. HTC is expected to present all of its new products on May 11 and 12, when HTC “Vivecon” 2021 takes place.
HTC tweeted an image on April 9 that resembles the side of a headset and reads, “Now that the accessories are out of the way, let’s get down to business.” With the accessories, HTC is referring to the lip tracker and the body tracker released earlier this year.
Vive Headset for business use
There is currently a lot of speculation about HTC’s upcoming headset. Because of the second part of the sentence “let’s get down to business”, several VR news websites such as Uploadvr and Road to VR think that HTC is referring to a new headset for business use. HTC gets a smaller share of the commercial market because they compete hard with the lower prices of Facebook’s VR products such as the Oculus Rift S.
Vivecon brings more clarity
HTC is waiting another month for the final unveiling of its new products. HTC may tease even more products until then. HTC Vivecon 2021 will take place on the 11th and 12th of May, where they will most likely unveil all the products and accessories they have teased in recent months.
