HTC announces the Vive Pro 2 and the Vive Focus 3

HTC announced two new VR headsets, the Vive Pro 2 and the Vive Focus 3 at their annual Vivecon event. The Vive Pro 3 is expected to launch on June 4th and the Vive Focus 3 on June 27th .

Taiwan – May 11, 2021 – HTC announced two new generation enterprise VR headsets at Vivecon: “The Vive Pro 2 and Vive Focus 3 business edition” These two new headsets continue HTC’s ‘revolution’ to lead the way in developing the sharpest VR headsets. The HTC Vive Pro 2 is the successor to the HTC Vive Pro and the HTC Vive Focus 3 is the successor to the HTC Vive Focus Plus

The latest enterprise headsets have sharp 5K display, with a powerful processor, supported by the Qualcomm XR2 platform. The headsets have one of the largest fields of view with 120 degree FoV, as well as support from the Vive Enterprise platform. HTC is showing a clear focus on the resolution of the displays with these headsets, as they have better resolutions than comparable VR headsets such as the HP Reverb G2 and the Oculus Quest 2.

HTC Vive Focus 3

HTC Vive Focus 3 will be available for € 1300 including the Vive Business Warranty Service.

  • Battery life of two hours with quick charge option, 50% of the battery is charged within half an hour

HTC Vive Pro 2

The HTC Vive Pro 2 will be available for € 799 including the Vive Business Warranty Service.

Release date of the Vive Pro 2 and the Vive Focus 3
