RealWear HMT-1 reaches End Of Life in September 2022

From the 30th of September 2022, the augmented reality headset, RealWear HMT-1, will be discontinued. If you are an owner or interested in the headset – what do you do now?

Launched in 2017 and quickly gained market leader status by targeting front-line workers and remote experts, the monocular AR smart glass, RealWear HMT-1, will reach its End Of Life (EOL) on the 30th of September.

If you are currently a user of the HMT-1 and want to stick with it, please contact us before the 30th of September so we can organise a solution with you.

Alternatively, you can upgrade to the newer RealWear Navigator 500 smart glass launched in 2021. The faster and sturdier headset is designed for heavy industrial use featuring superior noise cancellation, IP66 and MIL-STD-810H certifications, drop-secure of up to 2 meters, and Bluetooth 5.1. We can even set up a free trial, assessing if the Navigator 500 is worth the upgrade.

For more information on the differences of the HMT-1 to the Navigator 500 refer to our extensive comparison
