What do I get in the Vive Business Warranty & Service package?
Business warranty and services consists of 3 key components:
- License for commercial use
- Warranty on the product

The basic idea behind the Business Warranty and services is that you have all the services needed for business use in one package.
License for commercial use
The license for the Business Warranty & services is standard for 2 years. When the 2 years have passed, you can still use the Vive Enterprise platform and the business services. The account will also be kept in case new products have to be added. The only thing that changes after the two years is that repair costs may be charged in the event of a breakdown.
During the warranty period, HTC warrants the “Covered Product” to be free from defects in material and production when used under normal conditions. If you return a product or accessory during the warranty period and it meets the terms of the limited warranty, HTC (or its authorized agent) will repair or replace the product. When HTC repairs or replaces a product or accessory, the product remains under warranty for the remainder of the original warranty period or for three months from the date of repair, whichever is longer.
The differences between the business warranty and the consumer warranty are as follows:
- Repair cases with BWS are given a special tag in their ticket, giving priority to these repairs compared to consumer warranty.
- HTC will pay for the shipment in two directions with UPS’s logistics service. Usually, the package arrives at the end of the next business day after being picked up from HTC’s service center. The output logistics is also via the express service of UPS, so will have to be delivered the next working day after repair.
- The repair time will usually be completed the next business day after arrival.
Specifically, the repair of products with BWS take +- 24 hours, whereby products with a consumer warranty have a repair duration of 5-7 days.
Business services include expedited technical support for use, accelerated repair services, and online Vive resources.
