Pico Interactive announces the Pico Neo 3 for consumers in Asia. The 6DoF headset will get the latest hardware, making the glasses ready for demanding games that come out, in addition, the headset will get new optical controllers. The headset will not be released in Europe before Q3 of 2021.
The Pico Neo 3 supports 6DoF like its predecessor, making it possible to move freely in the real world with the headset. The biggest differences between the headsets is that the Neo 3 has the Snapdragon Platform and new optical controllers.
The Neo 3 has a more accurate location tracking due to the Qualcomm Snapdragon platform. This is because the location of the controllers is tracked by the new SLAM technique. More information about the Neo 3 is coming soon.
This product development follows the investment rounds of earlier this year, where Pico announced more about the Neo 3.
