TeamViewer Assist AR allows remote camera sharing through the frontline workers smart glass or mobile device. Unique about Assist AR is that freeze images can be taken during a call, providing technicians the ability to have a clear still image to provide technical assistance. Along with a visual feed, Assist AR creates an audio feed using VoIP, allowing a direct communication to be established between all parties involved in the call. Furthermore, all sessions can be recorded allowing a better evaluation of issues and knowledge transfer for future occurrences.
3D highlighting, text annotations and OCR
Assist AR remote users can receive support from the technician through 3D highlights, markers and annotations. The 3D highlighting allows a precise instruction to be drawn on the screen onto real-world objects leaving less room for error and misjudgment. The text annotations can be placed anywhere on the screen and provide an ideal solution when the remote user is in a loud environment. Unique to the Assist AR software is its optical character recognition capabilities, allowing for print characters to be read and shown directly to both the remote user and technician to avoid errors.
File sharing and real time screen sharing
Support is not only limited to calls and annotations with Assist AR. The software also allows files to be sent and securely received by the remote user with the click of a button. One of the unique features of the software is that the technician is able to share all or part of their desktop screen in real-time with the remote user.
