The new PSVR 2 gets the sharpest display

Sony, one of the biggest names in the gaming world, announced in February that it will come with a second Playstation VR headset. Details about these glasses were scarce, but more is now known due to a leak.

Playstation focus for PSVR 2

Amongst other things, the leak announced that Sony is once again focusing on a low price combined with the best possible stats, Sony also did this with the original PSVR. In any case, the new PSVR will get a much higher resolution than its predecessor.

PSVR gets a ultra sharp-display

The PSVR gets a 4000×2400 pixel screen, which means it has a 4k display for both eyes. The Pico Neo 3 has a screen with 3664 x 1920 pixels in comparison, the HP Reverb G2 and the HTC Vive Pro 2 are the only consumer headset with a sharper display.

The PSVR controller gets finger position sensors and triggers that can push your fingers back when they are pressed. The PSVR will get a USB-C connection, which, only the Playstation 5, so the PSVR is probably not compatible with the Playstation 4.

Release date and price PSVR

Just like with the unveiling of the next-gen PSVR, it is not yet known when the PSVR 2 will be released, but there is a good chance that this will not be until 2022. According to the leak, the price of the PSVR will be $ 399, but this has not yet been confirmed by Sony.
