The challenge

Escher was faced with the challenge of providing support for an industrial plant in China. Due to Covid policies in the country, experts who were required to work on the plant had to undergo a six-week quarantine, which was not feasible. Escher needed a solution that would allow them to offer remote support to the team on-site in China without sacrificing their quality of work.

The Solution:

Escher discovered VR Expert through a Google search and reached out to multiple companies for AR glasses. VR Expert stood out due to their extensive knowledge of the product and their quick response time, which was crucial given the tight schedule.

Escher chose the HMT-1Z1 AR headset for the following reasons:

The use case for the HMT-1Z1 AR headset involved Escher providing remote support to the plant workers in China. The device was used for repair work and executing checklists, ensuring the on-site team had access to the knowledge they needed to complete tasks efficiently.
