Product information Ultraleap Stereo IR-170 Camera Module

The Ultraleap Stereo IR-170 Camera Module is an accessory for the  Pico Neo 3 Pro and Pro Eye VR headsets that enables hand tracking on the devices. The Ultraleap Stereo IR-170 Camera Module removes the need for controllers and is ideally suited for interactive trainings, onboarding and simulations.

The Ultraleap Stereo IR-170 Camera Module for hand tracking on Pico Neo 3 Pro has the following advantages:

First, the Ultraleap Stereo IR-170 Camera Module enables hand tracking on the Pico Neo 3 Pro and Neo 3 Pro Eye VR headsets. This opens up a number of enterprise use cases that were previously limited to the Oculus/Meta Quest 2 and the HTC Vive Focus 3 for the Pico Neo 3 Pro line of headsets.

Second, the module removes the need for controllers which allows for deeper immersion and creates a lower barrier to entry for people unfamiliar with VR. This allows for more natural and effective onboarding and training as users will feel more comfort and immersion using their hands instead of controllers.

Third, the accessory has a 170 degree field of view and high accuracy depth sensors tracking over 27 distinct hand elements. The accessory allows both of the users hands and fingers to be tracked with accuracy between 10cm and 100cm from the device. The wide field of view with a range of depth means applications with extensive ranges of interactions can easily be handled.

Fourth, the Ultraleap Stereo IR-170 Camera Module consists of the Ultraleap Stereo IR 170 camera module as well as a Pico Neo 3 Pro mounting module allowing for a secure attachment of the module to the headset.
