VRED promotes cultural education by connecting schools and many Dutch museums through immersive Virtual Reality experiences. With multi-language support and content adapted for four different learning levels (Primary, Secondary, Vocational, and Higher Education) and offers interactive quizzes and tasks, students can explore art, history, science, and more anytime, anywhere. The platform’s unique approach makes learning interactive, accessible, and engaging for a global audience.

Each VRED museum tour is built on three layers:

• Customer Journey Layer: A curated route through the museum, ensuring an optimal learning path.

• Gamification Layer: Enhanced with audiovisual effects to make learning more captivating.

• Interactive Education Layer: Featuring an ‘infinite cube’ filled with facts, videos, audio, and quiz questions, all tailored to the student’s level.

Whether it’s a school in the U.S. or France, students can explore iconic artworks like The Night Watch through VR and get introduced to institutions such as the Rijksmuseum. Museums have both permanent collections and temporary exhibitions in the virtual tours, making their cultural heritage more accessible without borders or time zones. And because VRED is compatible with VR headsets, computers, tablets, smartphones, and even smart TVs, students and teachers can access these experiences anytime, on any device, all while museums create new ways to share their collections. At the same time, museums earn a fee for every virtual visitor, creating a new way to share their collections with a global audience.
