The Challenge

3Dimensions’ client, a data center company, was in the midst of upgrading and constructing new facilities. They wanted to showcase the new buildings and technical suites to potential clients through a virtual environment, providing an immersive and realistic experience. The client required a VR solution that would ensure portability and ease of use, allowing them to easily demonstrate their facilities to prospective customers.

The Solution

Leveraging the 3D BIM model provided by the client, 3Dimensions recreated the data center model from scratch, optimizing it for the Pico Neo 3 Pro VR headset. The headset’s DP cable and wireless capabilities were employed to stream a higher-quality version of the VR model from a gaming PC, ensuring a visually appealing and immersive experience for potential clients.

The Pico Neo 3 Pro VR headset’s portability enabled the client to conveniently set up and use the system at various locations, allowing them to showcase their new facilities to prospective customers without the need for physical presence. As a result, 3Dimensions successfully utilized the Pico Neo 3 Pro VR headset to create an engaging and immersive virtual tour of the data center, revolutionizing the way their client showcased their new facilities to potential customers.
