Gadgeteer EDU (Pico)

Gadgeteer EDU is an easy to use educational VR software for STEM courses. The content simulates a variety of physics principles through different 60 VR puzzles. Throughout the sessions, students can use various gadgets and simple machines to create chain reactions.

With Gadgeteer EDU, students can design complex Rube Goldberg-type machines in VR and MR. Rube Goldberg machines allow the creation of chain reactions. These machines enable STEM students to perform a simple task in an indirect and more complex way. This type of machine is tailored to the discovery of physics concepts such as energy transfer, cause and effect and gravity. 

The software provides tutorials and puzzles of varying complexity to guide students in their learning step by step. 

Gadgeteer EDU offers three different learning modes:

• Puzzle mode: Discover a range of problems to be solved with several solutions offered per level. This mode helps develop the critical thinking of students. They learn to build increasingly complex machines through the different game levels.
• Sandbox mode:  This mode gives space for creativity. Students discover endless construction possibilities. It is recommended for advanced students who have completed the puzzle mode and can move on to imagining their own construction machines.
• Free construction mode: Gadgeteer features more than 50 gadgets and 3 tool heads that students can use to design the machines.
