The Hessische Landesfeuerwehrschule (HLFS) is the central training and further education institution for fire protection and general assistance in Hesse. The origins of the modern educational institution, which is located in Kassel, date back to 1933.
Therefore, the HLFS has decades of experience in the education, training and development of members of the fire departments, relief organizations and civil protection. The knowledge acquired at the HLFS will later help the participants to cope with their responsible activities as full-time or volunteer emergency personnel.
