Product information Meta Quest Pro

The Meta Quest Pro is a standalone 6DOF VR Headset capable of Mixed Reality and Virtual Reality usage. It is ideally suited for productivity, interactive training, onboarding and simulations.

The Meta Quest Pro has the following key advantages:

Advanced Mixed Reality Capabilities

First, the Meta Quest Pro is one of the leading standalone VR Headsets which is capable of mixed reality. Five external cameras located on the front of the headset provide Full 3D Colour passthrough. 3D Colour passthrough enables 3D overlays to be placed over your physical reality allowing for better-mixed reality interactions and creating a more lifelike mixed reality experience.

The most powerful standalone VR headset

Second, the Meta Quest Pro VR headset features the Snapdragon XR2+ Processor. The XR2+ is an upgraded model of the widely used Snapdragon XR2 processor. The XR2+ processor is 50% more powerful than the XR2 allowing for much higher performance levels compared to other headsets as well as better power management. On top of the increased processing power, the headset also has 12GB RAM, making it the most powerful headset currently in the standalone VR category.

Comfortable and lightweight

Third, the Meta Quest Pro has been built to be comfortable for extended periods of time. The Quest Pro uses innovative pancake lenses making the lenses of the device more than 50% smaller than those of the Meta Quest 2. Along with this, the Quest Pro does not suffer from the front of the device being much heavier than the back. The Quest Pro has excellent weight distribution, which reduces the strain on the front and back of your head. The result of these two innovations is a far better balanced and comfortable VR headset.

High-Quality Display

Fourth, the Meta Quest Pro has a 3664 x 1920 pixel display. This provides a high-quality visual experience while 90 Hz of Refresh Rate keeps any high-intensity visuals smooth. The new Pancake Optics provide 37% more pixels per inch and much better contrast ratios than the previous fresnel lenses found on the Quest 2.  The headset can do this because the new lenses use a Mini-LED display which provides vibrant, high-contrast visuals. The headset also has a 106-degree FOV which is an upgrade from the Quest 2 allowing for more to be seen and experienced enhancing immersion in VR.

Industry-Leading Tracking

Fifth, the Quest Pro features 6DoF Inside-Out Tracking including Eye, Face, Hand and Body Tracking. 5 internal cameras provide unparalleled replication of facial expressions in VR experiences while 5 external cameras provide Hand and Body Tracking.

Hand tracking enhances functionality without a controller improving Mixed Reality usage, and allowing the user to have more lifelike simulations

The headset includes several unique Eye Tracking features including automatic IPD adjustment enhancing visual clarity for any user (Including those with glasses) and also foveated rendering. Foveated Rendering tracks what part of the screen your eye can see and specifically focuses on that area reducing the visual quality of others areas of the screen you cannot see helping to reduce the processor usage. This results in increased performance and longer battery life.
